Doing my Angel rewatch, and I've gotta say, though they definitely had a few cute and moving moments, specifically at the end of "You're Welcome", I honestly like Cordelia and Angel as friends more than as romantic partners. We really need more representations of deep and meaningful friendships between men and women. I loved how profound and affectionate their friendship was. It truly disappointed me the first time I watched it as a child that they took that friendship and made it romantic. And as an adult it still feels like a disappointment.

I don't mean this in a hateful way or anything, I love them both as characters, I just feel like they work better as friends.

The Rise of the Dark Spark Post

Alright, let's do this.

For those not in the know, Rise of the Dark Spark was a game that came out 2 years after Fall of Cybertron. It's also a crossover (kinda) of the WFC/FOC games and the Age of Extinction movie. The crux of the plot is that various characters are after an artifact known as the Dark Spark, which can travel between dimensions/universal streams.

I'm not going to get into more of the plot because it's not relevant beyond that fact that I find the whole thing ridiculous.

Now, the one good thing this game did give us is more banter between some characters from FOC, including a line that has been living rent free in my head since I heard it (Swindle calls Blast Off "Oh favorite brother of mine" and uuuuuuuh yes that is now canon)

ANYWAY since Rise of the Dark Spark technically takes place between WFC and FOC, and this is a blog for WFC/FOC based characters, I feel like I should address this game.

I think the story is dumb and I don't like it 🤷‍♀️ But I do like the conversations and scenarios taken out of the context of Dark Spark. So my general rule of thumb is that similar events happened, just not in the way the game presents them.

Did Swindle meet Sharpshot and immediately hate his vibes? Yes. Did they meet because they were escorting Shockwave and the Dark Spark to Kaon? No.

Did Bruticus take Cliffjumper hostage at some point? Yes! Was Cliffjumper after the Dark Spark? No!

Are you seeing the pattern?

So yeah, that's it basically. I take the "Dark Spark" aspect out of it, and that also frees up the possibility of events taking place before WFC or whatever.

I guess I'll also say that I don't consider any other Aligned verse media to be 100% canon to my blog either. I may take inspo from it, but I'm very headcanon based when it comes to events before and after the games. So feel free to ask if you ever have any questions about what is or isn't canon to my blog!

He didn't know if that was due to Alastor being weakened or because his chest hurt and he couldn't get it to stop but there he stayed, digging his clawed fists into the ground as the tears rolled down his face.

"...Bastard." He muttered, the only thing he was able to muster as he sobbed.

I'm not sure why but on my laptop (which ain't made for the games I play on it), unmodded New Vegas is not nearly as buggy as it should be. I guess what I'm trying to say is, how do I make it more buggy? It ain't crashing enough. It's just not right

fallout new vegas is like a wild horse you have to tame by installing bug fixes, no online guide will work 100% you just have to build up a bond with your game before it will work like the game is skittish and spooks easily so you have to be gentle but you also have to be firm and show it youre in charge because if it smells fear it will never obey you.
